All About Me

So, let me tell you a little bit about myself.  I grew up in Ottawa, Canada. After I  graduated high school, I went of to McGill University in Montreal.   I completed my undergraduate degree in psychology, I the I took some song’s advice and headed west for LA.  I did a graduate degree in psychology at Pepperdine University.  And yes, it was nice studying on the beach.  But alas, I could only take so much of the sun and fun so after graduation I headed back to Canada.  Crazy, I know.

I spent many years practicing psychology in Ottawa, and all the while the social media movement was growing.  Of course, I joined Facebook, the granddaddy of all social networks.  Later on came Twitter, Foursquare and LinkedIn.  Then I decided that I really do love all things related to social media, of getting to have a say in cyberspace.  I decided to try my hand as in social media marketing.  I wanted to help someone (like my dad – my first test case) who didn’t have a great knowledge of Cyberia but who wanted to grow his business online.  I thought that I could help the small business owner jump into the virtual world and use the many social networking sites out there to increase his (or her) visability and attract potential customers.  So here I am, plugging away.

Anyway, please feel free to stop by and read from time to time.  I welcome comments and questions and I also encourage you to visit my website at and while you’re there, if you could also “Like” my Facebook page (ADR Social Media Development), that would be awesome.
